The History of HIROTEC

1932 Uno Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in Hiroshima.
1953 Commissioned by Mazda Motor Corp. to produce automobile body components.
1958 Hiroshima Press Kogyo Co., Ltd was established in Fuchu, Hiroshima.
1959 Started production of stamping dies and press machines for in-house use.
1973 Started to export stamping dies.
1982 Received an order for automated assembly lines for doors and hoods from Saab.
1984 Received an order for stamping dies and assembly lines for doors from Ford Motor Corp., Mexico.
1985 Yumex Corporation was established to develop and produce exhaust system.
1987 Silla Engineering Co., Ltd. (Korea) was established.
1988 Tesco Engineering Inc. (U.S.A.) was established.
1989 Changed company name to Hirotec Corporation.
Acquired majority share of Ueno Technica Co., Ltd. (kiryu Gunma)
1991 Completion of Hofu Plant.
1992 Received first place for two consecutive years at Die Change Challenge Competition sponsored by Automotive Industry.
1993 Approved by Mazda Motor Corp., as a qualified supplier of excellent quality.
Hirotec Tooling Corp. was established.
1997 Thai Summit Hirotec Co., Ltd. was established. (Thailand)
1998 Aventec, S.A. de C.V. was established. (Mexico)
1999 European office establishment. (Germany, Dusseldorf)
2001 Received 2000 World Excellence Award (Gold Award) from Ford.
Received 2000 Supplier of the Year from GM.
Certified to ISO14001 (Hofu Division)
2002 Componentes Hirotec, S.A.U. was established. (Spain)
Tesco Engineerringng Inc. received 2001 Supplier of the Year from GM.
2003 Aventec received 2002 Supplier of the Year from GM.
2004 Tesco Engineering and Aventec received 2003 Supplier of the Year from GM.
Hirotec Australia Pty. Ltd. was established (Australia)
2005 Received 2004 World Excellence Award (Gold Award) from Ford.
2006 LiuZhou Hirotec Wuling Engineering Co., Ltd. was established. (China)
Nanjing Hirotec Co., Ltd. was established. (China)
Suzhou Hirotec Co., Ltd. was established. (China)
Completion of Oita Plant.
2007 Changchun Hirotec Co., Ltd. was established. (China)
Tesco Engineering Inc changed corporate name to Hirotec America Inc.
2008 Aventec, S.A. de C.V. changed corporate name to Hirotec Mexico, S.A. de C.V.
Received 2007 World Excellence Award (Gold Award) from Ford.
2009 Hirotec Mexico,Hirotec Australia received 2008 Supplier of the Year from GM.
Miwa Engineering Corporation was established. (Japan)
2010 Yumex Corporation was combined with Hirotec Corporation.
2011 Hirotec Europe GmbH was established.(Germany)
2012 Hirotec Manufacturing(Thailand)Co.,Ltd. was established.(Thailand)
